A Little Bit About Me
My name is Wendie. I have over 20 years of massage and holistic therapy experience. I am a member of the Professional Guild of Beauty and Holistic therapists. Qualified and fully insured. I've been a mobile therapist for many years, also working part time in a spa and beauty salon. Recently I spent 2 years working as an emotionally available adult in an SEMH school. My massage and relaxation skills were used to help many of the children who struggled with anxiety, emotions and behaviours, helping to support, listen and regulate them.
3 out of my 4 children have now flown the nest and this has given me the opportunity to utilise one of my downstairs rooms as my new treatment room “Escape to Zen”, along with an en-suite bathroom (many thanks to my hubby Sean for renovating the rooms). I do have a four legged best friend called Lord Rupert, a medium white labradoodle. He does get very excited and a little screechy when people come to the house as he obviously thinks you are here just to see him. We are working on this and a treat is mine (and his) best friend and then he will settle.

Lava Shell Massage
A bespoke and indulgent massage delivering an idyllic treatment combining the warmth of Lava Shells with targeted and deeply relaxing massage techniques.

Hot Stone Massage
Massage using warm and smooth basalt stones. A comforting and relaxing treatment bringing many benefits. The heat is effective at releasing tension often easing the pain. It can release endorphins which can reduce stress and anxiety.

Hopi Ear Candling
A gentle non invasive treatment that helps to cleanse the ear. It includes a pressure point scalp and facial massage. A hollow flax candle made from natural linen and beeswax is lit creating a chimney effect which gently draws out impurities from the ear.

Thai foot and leg massage
Massage, stretching and pressure to particular areas of the feet using my hands, fingers, knuckles and a Thai stick. Helps to stimulate areas of the feet releasing blocked energy within the body's Sen lines.
Reiki
A complimentary energy healing technique using gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy helping to reduce stress and promote healing. To fully benefit from a treatment you need only to be open to the idea and willing to receive the energy.
Swedish massage
A great way to relax and unwind. Helping to relax tight muscles and promote blood circulation.
Indian head massage
Treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck and shoulders. It also includes massage of the upper back and arms.
Remedial/deep tissue massage
Treatment that is tailored to specific muscle groups
that can help relieve muscle pain.
